Presidente Juscelino Kubistchek International Airport

Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek International Airport (IATA Airport Code: BSB), is Brasília's main international airport. With an terminal capable of handling more than 9 million annual passengers, the airport it is one of the most modern Brazilian airports.

It is controlled by Infraero, and it is named after the former Brazilian President Juscelino Kubitschek. The airport handled 6.8 million passengers in 2003, being the 3rd most movimented Brazilian airport of the year, just behind the two main Sao Paulo's airports, Congonhas and Cumbica.

Equipped with a runway 11/29 3.200 x 45 m long, Infraero is planning to build a second runway somewhere around 2008. The main Brazilian airlines (Gol, TAM, Varig, VASP) have daily flights to the airport.
