The line-up of musicians included: Day 1:

Day 2:

Day 3:

(A book called Aquarius Rising by Robert Santelli alo stated that Led Zeppelin was supposed to be there.

The famed Rock Doctor William Abruzzi (also at Woodstock) was there to treat bad LSD trips, and said there were more bad trips at Powder Ridge per capata, than any other music festival he'd ever worked.

This may have become another legendary Hippie Music Fest if not for the things that began to go wrong.

Middlefield residents began to be worried about the impact of such a crowd on their small town. They worked for and achieved an injunction against the festival just days before it began.

Signs were posted on the highways leading to Middlefield "Festival Prohibited, turn back".

The kids came anyway.

When the owner of the Ski Resort tried to contact the promoters to tell of the injunction, they could not be found. It looks like the event was never going to happen anyway.

(more later as I find more...)
