Polish Cup

The Polish Cup in football (official Polish title: "Puchar Polski") is an annually held elimination tournament for Polish football clubs and is the second most important national title in Polish football after the 1st league (or "Ekstraklasa") title.

Each football club which participates in the Polish football league system is entitled to enter the tournament. The clubs of the lower leagues have to enter regional qualification rounds and the winners of these join the teams of the first and second league in the main round of the tournament. Each elimination is decided by a single game which is held at the theoretically weaker team's stadium. The final eliminations are decided by 2 games.
