Phillip Schofield

(Redirected from Philip Schofield)

Phillip Schofield first appeared on UK television presenting Children's BBC on weekdays in the 80's and then Going Live! on Saturday mornings for many years. He then moved onto 'grown-up' TV with various documentaries and holiday programs for ITV. He took over the role of Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (theatre) from Jason Donovan. Another theatre production he's renowned for is Doctor Dolittle.

He also presented Talking Telephone Numbers for five series until its demise. He currently presents the BBC National Lottery - Winning Lines programme and a daytime TV talk-show, This Morning on ITV, along with Fern Britton. He also presents Test the Nation, a BBC nationwide quiz, alongside Anne Robinson.

Phillip was infamous for going grey haired at an early age and subsequently dyeing it black for a while before giving up on the bottle black.

One of Phillip's pet peeves is constantly being remembered as the companion of Gordon the Gopher (a puppet) from his Going Live! days on Saturday morning TV.
