Philip Carey (born July 15, 1925) is an American actor.

Carey has made appearances in the hit movies, Calamity Jane (1953), Monster (1979), and the television series Little House on the Prairie. He is perhaps known for his role as the protective patriarch, Asa Buchanan on the ABC soap opera, One Life to Live, a role he has been portraying since 1980.

After getting into an exit and going into contract talks, Carey reached a new contract to remain with One Life to Live.
