Pavol Demitra (Born: November 29, 1974 in Dubnica , Czechoslovakia- now Slovakia) is a Slovak professional hockey centre. He currently plays for the National Hockey League's St. Louis Blues. He was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft , Ninth Round, Two-hundred Twenty-seventh Overall. He has played for the Dukla Trencin of the Czech Hockey League , AHL Prince Edward Island Senators , IHL Grand Rapids Griffins, Ottawa Senators and the St. Louis Blues. He won the 2000 Lady Byng Memorial Trophy.
