The PFY or "Pimply-Faced Youth" is the BOFH's apprentice in the Bastard Operator From Hell stories by Simon Travaglia. The PFY's name is Steven [1][2].

The term "PFY" is now often used for a junior system administrator apprenticed to a more experienced sysadmin. The term is not as well-known as BOFH.
