Päijänne Tavastia is a region (maakunta / landskap) in Southern Finland south of the lake Päijänne . It borders to the regions Tavastia Proper, Pirkanmaa, central Finland, Southern Savonia, Kymenlaakso, and Eastern Uusimaa.
