Orley Farm School

Orley Farm School is a school located in north west london, in Harrow. It is at the bottom of Harrow on the Hill . It is the purpose built feed school of Harrow School, although now a small minority of leavers go to Harrow.

It was founded in 1850, and so celebrated its hundred and fiftieth aniversary in 2000 by having a week devoted to the victorian era, when all the pupils, and staff, dressed in peroid costume and used quills to write with. Since 1850 the school has had many Headmasters, including Mr. Hastings, Mr. Hopkins and Mr. Broadrick. These Headmasters were particularly valued as they had houses named after them. The fourth house is called Julians, after the house where Anthony Trollope lived nearby on Harrow on the Hill . The school is also named after one of Trollope's novels (Orley Farm)
