Olympic Stadium, Berlin


The Olympic Stadium (German: Olympiastadion) in Berlin, designed by German architect Werner March , was constructed between 1934 and 1936 for the 1936 Summer Olympics. It replaced the German Stadium designed by Werner's father Otto March . It was being refurbished for the Football World Cup 2006 until mid-2004. It now offers a capacity of 74,400 seats.

It is currently the home of Hertha BSC Berlin and Berlin Thunder, a NFL Europe football club.
