Odda is a municipality and town in the county of Hordaland, Norway. It is the centre of the landscape of Hardanger, located at the end of the Hardanger Fjord.

In 1927 Erling Johnson did an invention at Odda in the company called "Odda Smelteverk". He invented a proces to produce fertilizers. The process is now known as the "Odda Process".

Odda was also the name of the commander who defeated a viking raid in the Battle of Cannington, England, in 878 AD.
