North Somerset
North Somerset is a unitary authority in England , historically part of the county of Somerset but now administered independently. Between 1974 and April 1 , 1996 , it was the Woodspring district of the short-lived administrative county of Avon .
It borders the administrative counties of Bristol , Bath and North East Somerset and Somerset .
