No Sleep 'til Hammersmith was Motörhead's first live album. It was recorded at three shows (Leeds, March 28 1981 and Newcastle March 29 and March 30 1981). It went straight to Number One on the UK charts and marked the band's most sucessful period. Although it is their most succesful live album, Lemmy hates it very much, because it was released without the band's permission, while they were on their first US tour.
