Temiskaming Shores, Ontario is a city in the Canadian province of Ontario. It was created by the amalgamation of the communities of New Liskeard, Ontario, Haileybury, Ontario and the Township of Dymond, Ontario. It is located near the Quebec border on the shores of Lake Temiskaming . With a population of slightly over 10,000, Temiskaming Shores was granted city status in 2004.
The local radio station is CJTT-FM (104.5, hot adult contemporary). The area also receives CBC Radio 1 broadcasts from a local tower broadcasting at 102.3 FM.
Haileybury
Haileybury is the sourthern-most region, district, or borough of Temiskaming Shores and has a population of approximately 4,800.

Dymond
Dymond Township is the northern-most region, district, or borough of Temiskaming Shores. It contains most of the large commercial enterprises (Such as Walmart and a line of fast food restaurants) and the city's single mall.
