National Deaf Children's Society

National Deaf Children’s Society is a British medical research charity dedicated to the curing of deafness in children and proving support to those children.

NDCS was founded as "Society of St. John of Beverley" it was renamed to "The Deaf Children's Society" in 1945. It assumed the current name in 1950s.

The NDCS recently won an award for developing the first interactive CD Rom called the Parent to Parent Guide aimed at helping parents of deaf children cope with the challenges of everyday life.
