Nailbomb was a short-lived band side project of Max Cavalera (Sepultura), and Alex Newport (Fudge Tunnel ). The group also boasted guest spots from several other musicians (DH Peligro [Dead Kennedys] Igor Cavalera [Sepultura]). Nailbomb's first (and only) studio album, Point Blank, was a rough mixture of thrash metal, industrial, and hardcore. They did a hand full of live performances before dissolving. There was no big reason for the project ending; it was intended to be brief in the first place. Nailbomb's second (and final) album, Proud to Commit Commercial Suicide, was a live recording capturing the band's appearance at the 1995 Dynamo Open Air Festival in Eindhoven, Holland.
