MusicWiki is a project similar (but not related) to Wikimedia. Its objective consists on building a music specific wiki using GNU FDL as free license and including public domain music too. The project is open to collaboration in both direction to Wikipedia. It currently uses MediaWiki, Wikipedia's wiki software.

MusicWiki was born from another project, Plug It In !, a multi-author Brazilian blog about music.
