Mischa Anne Barton (born January 4, 1986) is an American Actress.
Barton was born in London, England, but moved to New York when she was 4 years old. Her mother’s name is Nuala. She has two sisters: Hania and Zoe. Barton is half English and half Irish.
Acting Career
Barton began her acting career at age nine in New York Theater with a lead role in Tony Kushner’s “Slavs!” She also played in “Where the Truth Lies” and “One Flea Spare” at the New York Shakespeare Festival. Her feature film was Lawn Dogs, debuting in 1998. She has played key roles in The Sixth Sense (1999) and Hill (1999). She is best known for her role on television’s “The O.C.”
Barton is currently attending The Children’s Professional School in Manhattan, finishing up her senior year. After graduating high school, she hopes to attend Yale School of Drama.
Barton loves music, and some of her favorite artists are the Beatles, the Strokes, the Rolling Stones, and Good Charlotte.
