Mike Tice

Mike Tice (born February 2, 1959) in Bayshore, New York. He attended the University of Maryland where he played quarterback. Tice is the current head coach for the Minnesota Vikings. He took over head coaching duties the last game of the 2001 season and than was named the regular head coach after the 2001 season ended, succeeding Dennis Green. He is the 6th head coach in Vikings history. He is the first former Viking player to become head coach of the team.

Tice played tight end in the National Football League from 1981 to 1995 with Seattle Seahawks, Washington Redskins and Minnesota Vikings. He was the offensive line coach for the Vikings prior to becoming the head coach. Recently it has been discovered that he scalped his Super Bowl tickets.
