Mike Modano

Mike Modano (born June 7 1970, in Livonia, Michigan) is a professional Ice Hockey Center in the NHL, playing for the Dallas Stars.

Modano has played all 15 of his NHL seasons with the Dallas Stars/Minnesota North Stars franchise (10 seasons with Dallas). He won the Stanley Cup in 1999. His best seasons were in 1992-93 and 1993-94 when he had 93 points each.

In 1988, he became the second of three American born players to be selected first in the draft. [Brian Lawton (1983) and Bryan Berard (1995) being the other two]
