Michigan State Highway 96

Michigan State Highway 96, also known as M-96, is a largely urban highway between Kalamazoo, Michigan and Marshall, Michigan. Its termini are both on business loops of Interstate 94, the eastern one also coinciding with an intersection with Interstate 69. Between Kalamazoo and Marshall it passes through Comstock, Michigan, Galesburg, Michigan, Augusta, Michigan, and Battle Creek, Michigan intersecting Interstate 194 and Michigan State Highway 66 in Battle Creek and Interstate 94 near Ceresco, Michigan .

Throughout its route, most of M-96 follows the path of the old U.S. Highway 12, which was decommissioned after the completion of Interstate 94 in southwestern Michigan. All of M-96 is surface road, little of it divided.

Some parts of it lie within 40 miles of Interstate 96, which could cause confusion.
