Michael Angelis

Michael Angelis (born 1952 in Liverpool, England) is a British actor.

Angelis is best known for narrating the British Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends series from 1991 onwards. He narrated a few American Thomas episodes in 2003, after the previous narrator Alec Baldwin left, but was soon replaced by Michael Brandon.

Micheal was also one of the stars of the famous 1982 BBC drama serial Boys from the Blackstuff and its comedies such as Luv and The Liver Birds which he was on from seasons 5-9.

He has been the longtime companion of actress Helen Worth, who he later married.
