Melanie Chartoff

Melanie Chartoff (born December 15, 1955) is an actress best known for her voice roles in the Rugrats. She also played various characters in ABC's Fridays show from 1980-1982. She was born in West Haven, Connecticut. Invented and patented a water saving system for domestic use. Also appeared in the October 1981 issue of Playboy magazine as the "Breast of The Month". Recently recognized as one of the 50 most beautiful women inventors of all time by Inventors Weekly magazine.

She has also done voice-over work on the cartoon series "Rugrats". Melanie's "Rugrats" characters include Didi Pickles, Tommy and Dil Pickles' mother, and her mom, Minka. She continues to voice Didi on "Rugrats'" successor series, "All Grown Up!"

Melanie also had a role as the principal in the Fox sitcom "Parker Lewis Can't Lose"
