	Medemblik Medemblik (population: 8,037 in 2004) is a town in the north-western Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. The municipality covers an area of 107.96 km² (of which 100.65 km² water). It received city rights in 1289. There is a historical railway between Medemblik and Hoorn. External links Official Website
