Martin Buchan

Martin Buchan (born March 6, 1949 in Aberdeen) was a Scottish football player. Martin was a defender for Manchester United and captain of the late 1970's teams. His first game for the club came in 1972 against Tottenham soon after his transfer from Aberdeen. He helped United win the 1977 F.A. Cup against Liverpool. He left the club in 1984 after injuries caught up to him. He left having played in 455 games and scoring 4 goals.
