Mario Aerts (born 31 December 1974) is a professional cyclist born in Herentals, Belgium. He has since shifted residence to Molenstede and works in the T-Mobile Team, and has done so since 2003 (then named Team Telekom).

He has been a professional cyclist since 1997 and has, during his career, been in two other teams - Vlaanderen (1996-1997) and Lotto (1998-2002). During this time he has, most significantly, raced in 4 Tour de Frances, 1 Giro d'Italia, and a Vuelta. He has overall won Isbergues in 1996, Circuit Franco Belge in 2001, Giro della Provincia di Lucca in 2001, and the Fleche Wallone in 2002.
