Marilyn Chambers (born Marilyn Ann Briggs, April 22, 1952, in Westport, Connecticut, USA) is an adult film actress who was catapulted to fame by the film Behind the Green Door.

She once was the cover girl on the Ivory Snow soap box, where she posed holding a baby. The company quickly dropped her after they found out she had become an adult film actress. She was replaced by another model who they hoped could better signify the purity of the product.

From 1975 to 1985 she was married to Chuck Traynor who had previously been married to porn star Linda Lovelace.

In the 2004 US Presidential election, Marilyn Chambers ran for Vice President on the Personal Choice Party ticket, a quasi-libertarian party.
