Mallee Highway

The Mallee Highway (route B12) runs east from Tailem Bend in South Australia through cereal-growing farmland to Pinnaroo near the border with Victoria, where it crosses route B57 from Bordertown to Loxton . It continues in Victoria through Ouyen (where it crosses the Calder Highway A79) and Piangil (where it crosses the Murray Valley Highway B400). It crosses the New South Wales border and the Murray River at Tooleybuc and continues to Balranald, where the Sturt Highway (national 20) crosses the Murrumbidgee River.
