Malcolm Maclaren (1967 – July 14 2004) was the creater of the Maclaren F1 . Maclaren's career in automobiles made a good sum of money, but it took a ugly turn. He was a poor man for 11 years when around 1992 the design of the F1 gave him the inspiration again to work.
