Macdonaldtown railway station, Sydney

Macdonaldtown railway station is a minor CityRail station in the city of Sydney, Australia. It is the second station on the Inner West line heading away from Central, being preceded by Redfern and followed by Newtown.

The station has one island platform, located opposite the CityRail yards at Eveleigh and adjacent to the junction between the main south and west lines. The station, although located in the busy suburb of Newtown, is primarily used by commuters and is quiet at other times of the day. Entrance is from the railway underpass on Burren St.
