Lublin Voivodship (in Polish województwo lubelskie) is an administrative and local government region or voivodship in the eastern part of Poland. It was created on 1 January 1999 out of the former Lublin (2), Chełm, Zamość, Biała Podlaska and partly Tarnobrzeg and Siedlce voivodships as a result of Local Government Reogranization Act of 1998. The voivodship's name recalls the region's traditional name and the biggest city: Lublin.

It borders with the Podlasie (Podlaskie), Masovian (Mazowieckie), Świetokrzyskie and Subcarpathian (Podkarpackie) voivodships and also with Ukraine and Belarus.

It has a population of 2,199,100 (2002).

Its area is 25,114 km&sup2 .

Lublin Voivodship (5) 14th c.-1795 (Latin: Palatinatus Lublinensis, Polish: Województwo Lubelskie) was a unit of administrative division and local government in the Kingdom of Poland created in 16th century out of parts of Sandomierz Voivodship till the partitions of Poland in 1795. It was part of Little Poland province.
