Lom is a municipality in the county of Oppland, Norway. It was the birthplace of the novelist Knut Hamsun, winner of the 1920 Nobel Prize in Literature, the poet Olav Aukrust, and regional historian Ivar Kleiven, who has been called Gudbrandsdalens Snorri Sturluson.

Lom is also famous for having one of the few remaining stave churches in Norway, and is the "gateway" to the Jotunheimen National Park, and containing the two highest peaks in Norway, Galdhøpiggen and Glittertind.

St. Olafs-stuggu, a building were St. Olaf is reported to have spent a night in 1021 , can still be found here.
