The Los Angeles--Riverside--Orange County, CA CMSA was a defined Consolidated Metropolitan Statistical Area between June, 1993 and June, 2003. Prior to June, 1993 this area had been defined as the Los Angeles-Anaheim-Riverside, CA CMSA. After June, 2003 it was divided into different statistical areas. It was defined as:

Los Angeles--Riverside--Orange County, CA CMSA
- Los Angeles-Riverside-Orange County, CA CMSA
- Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA PMSA
- Orange County, CA PMSA
- Riverside-San Bernardino, CA PMSA
- Ventura, CA PMSA
Note: this CMSA comprised five counties, not three as its name might suggest.
