Lepa Brena

Lepa Brena (b. October 20, 1960) became a popular pop/folk singer in the former Yugoslavia.

Her real name is Fahreta Jahić Živojinović, she is a Bosnian Muslim that was born in Tuzla and lived in Brčko. Her claim to fame was her singing, but also her blonde hair and her voluptuousness. She also gained great success in Bulgaria.

She started her career in the same time as Madonna and had Marilyn Monroe as her ideal.

As she gained country-wide prominence, she got married to Serbian tennis player Slobodan-Boba Živojinović and moved to Belgrade, Serbia. She remained there to this day, with her husband and young son Stefan. She used to live for few years in USA where she born her childern. Stefan was kidnapped in 2000 when he was eight years old, and released after his parents paid over a million euros in ransom. Kidnappers were arrested in 2003 in police action Sablja after the assassination of Zoran Đinđić.
