Lemsterland is a municipality in the northern Netherlands.

Population centres

Bantega, Delfstrahuizen, Echten, Echtenerbrug, Eesterga, Follega, Lemmer, Oosterzee, Oosterzee-Buren.

Lemmer

Lemmer (population around 11,000) is one of Friesland's most famous watersporttowns. The Ir.D.F. Woudagemaal (D.F. Wouda Steam Pumping Station) is a World Heritage Site.
