Langford, British Columbia

Langford is a city of about 20,000 residents on southern Vancouver Island, within the province of British Columbia, Canada. It is considered part of Greater Victoria.

Langford was named after Captain Edward Langford, who established a Hudson's Bay Company farm there in 1851. Langford has gained a reputation as being a dirty city plagued with drug addiction due to several residences on the main street, Goldstream Ave. Although the city is growing, and has many very nice tourist atttractions, Langford is still despised by the rest of Vancouver Island.
