Lambi is a little village in the bottom of the inlet Lambavik on Eysturoy’s east-cost. The houses are spread down through the valley following the road on its way from the bottom of the valley down to the small harbour.

On the harbour there is a huge rock. Nobody wants to remove the rock because it is said to be inhabited by ‘huldufolk’. ‘Huldufolk’ are a kind of pixies that people used to belief in. They can be fierce if disturbed.
