Lac Saint-François

Lac Saint-François (Lake Saint Francois) is historically known as the origin point of the St. Francis Indians of the Algonquin tribe, who raided New England settlements along the Connecticut, Merrimack, and Piscataquah river watersheds. It is in southern Quebec and north of New Hampshire. It is located on the Saint Lawrence River southeast of Montreal and due south of Quebec City.
