Kutsuki, Shiga

Kutsuki (朽木村; -mura) was a village located in the former Takashima District, Shiga, Japan.

As of 2003, the village had an estimated population of 2,546 and a density of 15.36 persons per km². The total area was 165.77 km².

The village was dissolved upon the formation of a new city on Jan. 1, 2005 called Takashima with the merging of Adogawa, Imazu, Kutsuki (village), Makino, Shinasahi, and Takashima towns.
