Kiss of Death is a 1994 crime/detective thriller (although released in 1995) that is a remake of the 1947 film of the same name.

Jimmy Kilmartin (David Caruso) is a ex-con living in Astoria, New York, in the borough of Queens, trying to stay clean. But when his cousin makes him take a fall for a heist, he lands back in prison. In order to get an early release, he works with a detective (Samuel L. Jackson) to bring down a local small-time crime boss (Nicolas Cage).

It bombed at the box office and was nominated for a Razzie award.
