Jonathan Banks was born on January 31,1947 in Washington, D.C.. He is a character actor who has had some small roles and some big roles in film and in television.

Some of his movie roles include 48 Hours, Beverly Hills Cop,Gremlins, Armed and Dangerous, Freejack, and Under Siege 2: Dark Territory. Jonathan Banks had played lots of villains in films, his most recent film to date is the 2002 film Dark Blue.

He starred on the short lived science fiction tv series Otherworld as Kommander Neveen Kroll, his big role was on the tv series Wiseguy as Frank McPike.

His guest appearances on tv shows range from Matlock, SeaQuest DSV, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and on Highlander as an immortal named Mako.
