The John Paul Jones Arena, to be opened for the 2006-2007 basketball season, is located at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. When opened, it will have seating for 15,000 fans; a dramatic change from the University of Virginia's previous facility, University Hall . The design features columns on the outside to tie in the design with Scott Stadium, UVa's football facility.
