John Leslie (rugby player)

John Leslie (born November 25, 1970) - Originally from Otago in New Zealand. Elder son of the great All Black captain Andy Leslie. After a spell with the Fukuoka Sanix Bombs club in Japan he moved to England and was with Newcastle Falcons before moving down South to join Northampton. John Leslie also played for Scotland and scored the fastest ever try in the last Five Nations championship in 1999 - it was touched down about 11 seconds after the kick-off.

A distinguished kilted Kiwi. Others include: Brendan Laney, John's younger brother Martin Leslie , Sean Lineen - the original kilted Kiwi, Glenn Metcalfe , Gordon Simpson .
