Joe Greene (football player)

"Mean" Joe Greene (born September 24, 1946) was an American football player in the NFL. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1969 to 1981 in the defensive tackle position. The Steelers chose him as the number one pick in the 1969 NFL draft. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1987.

Greene has also appeared in commercials, the most famous of which is the one in which a child gives him a cola, prompting "Mean" Joe to smile and give him his game jersey.
