Jeff Friesen

Jeff Friesen (b. August 5 1976 in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada) is a professional hockey player who plays left-wing for New Jersey Devils of the NHL. Friesen played his junior years with the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League (WHL). Friesen was selected 11th overall in the first round of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft by the San Jose Sharks.

Friesen played nearly seven seasons with the Sharks until he was traded to the Anaheim Mighty Ducks near the end of the 2000-2001 season. After playing the following season with the Ducks, he was traded to the New Jersey Devils for the 2002-2003 season. At the end of the 2003-2004 regular season, Friesen has played in 770 NHL games with 208 goals and 285 assists for 493 points.
