Jeff Ament (born March 10, 1963) has been the bassist for the rock bands Green River, Mother Love Bone, and Temple of the Dog. He is currently bassist for Pearl Jam. He has also played in a side project called Three Fish .

Ament was born in Big Sandy, Montana. He is known among bass players for his tasteful fretless, stand up bass, and eight-string bass guitar work.
