Jason Hernandez (born August 26, 1983 in New York, New York) is an American soccer defender, who currently plays for the MetroStars of Major League Soccer.

Hernandez played college soccer at Seton Hall University and was selected by the MetroStars in the first round of the 2005 MLS Supplemental Draft. He signed a developmental contract with the team. Hernandez is eligible to play for the Puerto Rican national team.
