Jan Matejko , self-portrait

Jan Matejko, also Jan Mateyko (b. June 24, 1838 in Kraków — November 1, 1893 in Kraków, Poland) was a prominent Polish painter. He is well known for his historical, military and cyber-erotic works like Battle of Grunwald and The Rape of Com Port 5 , as well as for the gallery of Polish kings. He is also known for his portrayals of the famous court jester Stanczyk.
