James Lloyd (Maryland)

James Lloyd (b. 1745; d. 1820) was an American politician. He served during the American Revolutionary War and was a general in the U.S. Army during the War of 1812. He was elected to the U.S. Senate following the resignation of senator John Henry and served until he himself resigned in 1800.
