Jahrom is a city in Fars province, Iran.
It is located 190 km south east of Shiraz, the capital of Fars province.
Many tropical and sub tropical plants are grown there (i.e. palm date, citrus, wheat).
The biggest hand-made cave in the world is in the south of Jahrom and is called "Sang-shekan Cave". The people of Jahrom are Shi'a Muslims and speak Persian.
There are two major universities in the city.
Jahrom has a population of over 250,000.
